Tim’s crew brings a jetter, a push-rod camera and cable machines to Brandon houses, then picks whichever tool the pipe calls for. The price goes on paper first, and a written quote from any licensed competitor gets beaten.

Drain Service for Brandon, FL 33511
Brandon grew fast. The census counted 12,749 people here in 1970, 41,826 in 1980 and 114,626 by 2020. Much of the sewer under the 1970s and 1980s subdivisions is now forty to fifty years old, and the drain lines inside those houses have had just as long to collect grease and soap film.
Jetting is the cleanup for that. A nozzle on the end of a hose throws pressurized water against the pipe wall, and the flow carries what it loosens toward the street main. Tim leads the crew that handles hydro jetting, sewer line jetting, kitchen line grease jetting and root removal, from Brandon out to Valrico, Seffner, Riverview and Plant City.
One stopped tub or toilet is a cable job, and we say so. Before any jetting on an older house, read why the camera goes in first.

Which fixture, how long, one drain or several. A photo of the cleanout or the wet spot helps. You get a rough range on the phone.
The crew locates the cleanout, or pulls a toilet when there is none, and runs the camera when the symptom points to the main line or keeps repeating.
You see the footage and the price on paper, and nothing starts until you agree. The nozzle is picked for the pipe and the blockage.
A second camera pass or a free-flowing test shows the result. Cracks, bellies and offsets are named in plain words, with a plumber as the next call.
Older Houses, Honest Limits
By our reading of the Census Bureau’s 2020–2024 estimates, about 23 percent of Brandon’s housing units predate 1980, and about 37.5 percent went up between 1970 and 1989. County records show the public mains under places like Providence Lakes and Heather Lakes are overwhelmingly PVC. The pipe between your house and that main is another matter, because its material was never published.
Houses from before the mid-1970s may carry cast iron, clay or even bituminous fiber pipe in the lateral, and later ones more often have ABS or PVC. That is a reason to look, not a finding. The camera runs first, pressure is set for what it shows, and we stop on fiber pipe, cracks, collapses or a sag that holds water.
We do not dig, reline or replace, so a bad section gets pointed out on the footage and handed to a plumber or repair contractor. The older-homes guide goes pipe by pipe, and the post on county sewer records shows what those records do and do not prove.
Jetter or Cable?
The two machines do different work, and a good crew uses each where it fits.
A cable opens a channel through a clog. Jetting works around the full pipe wall, so the coating that caused the clog goes too.
Pressure loosens the buildup and gallons per minute carry it away. A big psi number alone does not clean a line.
A cutting nozzle trims the mass at the joint. The tree stays where it is, so roots can come back at the same spot.
Hillsborough County warns that fat hardens and blocks home plumbing. Jetting strips a packed kitchen branch back to bare pipe.
A look before and after replaces guessing, and it can go to a landlord or an HOA board that wants proof.
A dropped object, a broken fitting or a one-off tub clog does not need the jetter. Our drain cleaning and snaking covers the cheaper fixes.
What a Visit Can Cover
By NOAA’s 1991–2020 normals for Tampa International, 30.24 of the area’s 49.48 inches of yearly rain fall from June through September. Brandon sits on flat, sandy flatwoods, and where soils like Myakka fine sand are mapped, as in Providence Lakes, the water table stays under 18 inches for one to four months in most years. Wet ground works on joints, and a drain that coped in April can be sluggish by July.

Worth including: the year the house was built, and a picture of the cleanout cap if you can find it.
Where We Work
Home base is Brandon, ZIPs 33511 and 33510, with I-75, SR 60 and the Selmon Expressway as the main ways in and out. From there the route fans across east Hillsborough County.
Each place changes the job. Plant City and Temple Terrace run their own sewer systems instead of the county’s, Dover and most of Thonotosassa sit outside county sewer, and FishHawk Ranch has newer PVC beside its reclaimed-water lines. Mango, north of Brandon on MLK Boulevard, carries more renters and small multi-unit buildings.
Inside Brandon, the Providence Lakes, Heather Lakes and Brandon Hills pages cover the 1970s and 1980s lines, and Brandon Pointe covers homes built in 2013–15.

Standard residential jetting runs $350–$650. A kitchen line is $275–$450, and a main line with moderate roots is $400–$750. Adding a camera pass to a jetting visit costs $150–$300. The Brandon hydro jetting cost guide lists what pushes a job up or down.
Hillsborough County asks you to phone Water Resources at (813) 307-1000 for a backup into a home. We found no county page saying where its side of a lateral ends, so ask that line or your HOA. If the clog is in your line, we clear it. See who to call, and in what order.
Not if the camera goes first. County records show Brandon’s street mains are mostly PVC, but the pipe from your house to the main is unrecorded. Older lines get a look, a pressure matched to what shows up, and a stop if the pipe is cracked. Read the older Brandon homes guide.
Tell us when you call. We can clear the house lines up to the tank, but we do not push pressure into a drainfield. Dover and most of Thonotosassa sit outside county sewer, so septic is common there. The Dover page explains how we handle it.
June through September brings about 61 percent of the Tampa-area year’s rain, and Brandon’s sandy flatwoods hold water close to the surface. Wet ground loads pipe joints, and roots head for them. A line that was fine in April can slow by July. See why wet months slow Brandon drains.
Often. Hillsborough County says wipes labeled flushable are not, and its crews report sightings of “clog monsters” in the sewer system at least twice every day. In a house line the wipes snag on grease and scale already on the wall. Jetting clears the wall; the wipes need to go in the trash.
About one Brandon home in three sits in a building of five or more units, and those buildings share stacks and branch lines. One blockage can surface in a neighbor’s tub. Repeat backups are often a landlord or association question. See how shared stacks work.
We show you the footage and say so. We clean, jet and inspect lines, but we do not dig, reline or replace pipe, so a cracked, collapsed or offset section goes to a plumber or repair contractor. You keep the video to hand to whoever quotes the repair.
Both. A clogged toilet auger runs $125–$225, a kitchen drain snake $150–$275 and a branch-line snake run $175–$325. Most drain jobs land between $125 and $350. The drain cleaning and snaking page lists what each visit includes.
